life long gardener, I have taught horticulture and gardening at colleges. Was Head Gardener for a large traditional garden for a time. Tutor for a correspondence college here.

My degrees are in ecology, Im a gardener by training and inclination(I admit it, I worked in glasshouse production when the motto was "if it moves - and that includes the staff - spray it with something horrible!" but I know better now) nation and my hobbies are local history, falling out of aircraft and caving (spelunking to our American colleagues)
