Even though I'm just renting and may move next year, I must garden or I'll shrivel up and blow away. Have been into plants since my teens (a while now!), cats always, books forever. Not fond of "designer-y" gardens, much prefer exuberence and unrestrained enthusiasm. Somewhat shade-blind, some of my colour combinations are a bit odd, but it's not like there's a garden test at the end of this, is there? (IS there??) I like curved lines; mixing veggies, flowers & herbs; planting for birds & butterflies; 99% organic; edible "weeds"; rather budget-conscious (ie stoney-broke most of the time) so like to accept donations from neighbours and give something back. Studying for Master Gardener certificate this fall, something herbal soon as well. Looking forward to joining the Forum!
