Not sure what zone I live in, but we have lots of snow in the winter. Live on a mountain near Trail, British Columbia, Canada at about the 1800' level. We have 10 acres in total with about 2 acres I am attempting to tame into some semblance of garden. Not bad after living here for 20 years! One husband, 2 step-daughters, 1 step-son, 3 grandchildren, 2 Miniature Pinschers, Jack and Rocky, and 1 Tuxedo cat, Chava. I love whimsical garden features. I am a watercolour painter and twig furniture builder.
