I enjoy flower gardening - particularly growing cutting flowers and flowers that attract hummingbirds. Each year I anxiously await the arrival of hummers to our home.

I live in Middletown, PA; near Hershey and Harrisburg. I have a rather extensive garden of perennials but suppliment with annuals to fill in with extra color and stems to pick all summer long.

Working part-time two days a week allows me the perfect amount of time to work outside and enjoy my flowerbeds.

My husband keeps busy tending the vegetable garden. It is nice that we each have our own gardening interests. Vegetables fill our table with goodness all summer long and flowers fill the house with color and fragrance.

We have 2 grown daughters; one who is 27 and a veterinarian. The other one is 29 and works for the Holiday Inn Corporation.
