A city dweller in the tropics trying to emulate the balcony gardens of the temperate zones. My current crop of plants include philodendron scandens, epipremnum Marble Queen, 5 different syngoniums including Maya Red, a recently acquired plectranthus, a glechoma which does not appear to thrive here in the tropics, 3 species or hybrids of hippeastrum, including the recticulatum, a serrisa plant, 3 vines : stephanotis floribunda, pandorea jasminoides and hoya carnosa variegata, a lip-stick plant, several ferns, a clerodendrum thomsoniae, a dwarf lagerstromia, a lantana camara, a dying anthurium, struggling salvia coccinea, an asparagus fern, an agapanthus Peter Pan which has not flowered, a gloriosa lily seedling, 2 dietes vegeta seedlings, a fittonia and a couple of other unidentified tropicals. I crown these tropicals with my Orbit and Maverick pelargoniums, double petunia grandiflora and impatiens walleriana, which are the envy of my neighbours...:)
