i have a plot in a community garden here, its summer as i write this, so the things flourishing htere are lemongrass, lemon balm, basil and rosemary. i mulched with leaves, so the weeds in my plot are scarce, though i battle them in the common areas. i have bananas in my yard and am going to put one or two into the garden plot. florida is kind of backward from the rest of the country, i will have so many "summer" questions in november-april. ithink i know what i want to plant, now i just need to find good heirloom sources.
