I have a 10 acre farm in Ocala Florida that I share with a sheltie and several Thoroughbred horses. I love to grow daylilies and roses and am proceeding to turn as much of my yard into a garden. Less to mow (what a waste of time and energy). I am practising "lasagna gardening" techniques and really love the results. I am now much more aware of composting items.. I save coffee grounds, what little lawn clippings I have left, and anything else that I can put in my lasagna gardens. What started out as a hobby has turned into a full blown obsession.
