i'm still very much a beginner at this gardening business -- at the trial-and-error, "put it in the ground and see if it dies" stage -- but i'm really enjoying it. an added challenge is my "assistant gardener" pet goose, who does a lovely job of mowing the lawn, but is a little over-enthusiastic about pruning.
