Catref Pen Y Rhiw is Welsh for 'House on(at) Top of Hill'. We're in NW Rhode Island, at the top of a hill - of ledge, . Anywhere you sink a shovel or post-hole digger, you hit rock - small, medium, large and house sized rock! Combined with too many trees (about to do some 'foresting'!) makes for some interesting landscape/gardening challenges.
