I'm fairly new to birdwatching, yet already have a reputation among friends and colleagues. They call me "bird woman" and I've been known to stop in the middle of a sentence to point out a bird I've spotted. I'm also a big fan of the "turn around and go back for another look" manuever, particularly when birds of prey are involved. Traffic and appointment times are of little concern..... I love the forum because it's a great source of information for me. It is also a joy to talk with others who share the same passion for birding.
