I live in Lampasas Cove, Texas. I grew up on a farm in Oklahoma. I love gardening and that kind of thing. I am preping the land for a drawf fruit orchard. I plan to have plums, peaches, apricots, apples, pears, hazel nuts, walnuts, pecans of course. I have been trying to find olive trees, macadamia nut, cashew nut, brazil nut trees. My family thinks I'm plant crazy since they are growing everywhere in preparation for planting to the land. They just shake their heads when I cut open something and first things first, the seeds is carefully removed, placed on a napkin to dry and store for later use. I'd love to hear from others. Especially if you know anything about starting trees from seed. I have found a couple of great web sites that offer common trees at great prices. I like the idea of exchanges. Until now, most my plants have had to be restricted to container plants. But now I can really expand and the ideas just keep coming.
