My husband and I only really got into gardening about 5 years ago. Before that all we had were trees and lawn. Now we're really into our cottage gardens (front & back) and seem to buy new plants every other week. As everyone knows, with cottage gardens you can just keep adding plants to fill in gaps to have the garden beds with some type of flower all year round if you're lucky, and to stop the weeds growing at the same time just keep adding mulch. Our idea of gardening!!!
