My Wife and I just bought a small house in the middle of 5 gorgeous acres in South Alabama. It already had some(unidentified) banana trees and some native bamboo growing along with a nice BIG Satsuma tree.

We have since planted a dozen more varous citrus trees and more bananas and are acquiring more. I will be building a LARGE greenhouse this summer to supplement the very small one that was already here, so we will be growing everything year-round.

We are also very feline-oriented with 5 cats (today's count) including Maine Coons and Polydactyls (six-toed). I plan to start a large crop of catnip shortly. I also like to build custom and unusual cat trees and am finishing a workshop to do it in.
