We have a lot with various types of conditions in which to garden. We have a bare sunny slope with poor soil adjacent to a freshwater lake, a wood of pine and oak limbed up to provide view of the lake, and an average front garden with western exposure and sandy soil. No grass only a stone lawn. I love to collect seeds, and to have plants that re-seed. Garden design is not my strong suit! We have been here for almost 5 years and our garden is beginning to look like something.
