I enjoy a beautiful landscape (& fresh produce), and I am also an avid outdoorsman (canoeing, fishing, hiking, etc.). Four years ago, I began to refurbish a yard that has been neglected for 6-10 years. I invision a low maintenance yard (allowing more time for my other interests), with something blooming in every month of the year. I have long way to go.
