Hello ladies and gents! :O) I look forward to talking shop with other addicts....and perhaps growing as a gardener...and maybe even helping someone else out someday! lol Im one of those...plant it move it plant it move it types of gardeners. I have a huge empty canvas at the moment since we just recently purchased our first home. Thank goodness for us the previous owners were somewhat gardeners in their own right....so not too much soil ammendment had to take place. Im in the process of building and using my first greenhouse...Im hoping for the best. lol I do have a somewhat formal background in Horticulture...however, my education was very landscape architecture based...and not flower gardening based.....for that im on an ever growing quest for information. I hope to this fall ( or whenever the classes start again) take the classes to become a Master Gardener. My youngest child will be in school...and mom will have some time to be able to actually process information for the first time in almost 13 years. lol Im pretty easy to get along with....I am always looking to talk with someone who has experience growing in the upstate of South Carolina...as this is my new home by choice, not birth. lol
