Ive been growing tomatoes and summer veggies for several years, but Ive recently been afflicted with a fruit-growing bug, specifically tropical and sub-tropicals. It all started with two citrus trees. Since then Ive added Feijoa, Banana, Guava, Strawberry Guava, Blueberries and Passion Fruit to my yard. To further complicate issues, nearly all the fruit are in containers, since I live in a rented house and plan to relocate soon. The banana is in the ground but Ill dig it up when I move.

More recently Ive become interested in growing California native plants, especially those that attract hummingbirds.
