I live in an area that at one time was a river bed or something, it is almost solid clay. Somehow post oaks have grown abundantly and a few other trees that Im not sure what are. I would like to find plants that will grow in this concrete type earth. I have tried many different kinds and I am constantly getting transplants from my mothers profuse yard. So far things only seem to survive in pots. Unfortunately I need more groundcover to control the immense erosion of soil.
