I live in NE Ohio and I learned back in 2011 about black walnut trees. After several years of unsuccessful plantings. Finally had a nursery pinpoint my problem. With that figured out...I'm slowly trying to grow a successful yard full of thriving flower beds! It is nice seeing things starting to thrive than die off. Though...it is still up in the air over the sand cherry we relocated away from the walnut tree. Really finding this forum quite helpful!
