I am in several swaps and surprise exchanges...I like just about anything. I am a new gardener who is just getting the hang of it in my 2nd year. I love flowers. Vines, shrubs, trees, whatever. I really like it to flower. But, I love anything I dont have either. Never had an orchid yet. Like tropical bulbs that flower. Anything really! It is HOT here in the Sierra foothills in summer(110) and kinda cold but mild in winter(low around 20). My zone in Sunset is the foothills of 7 but I am on the border of the thermal fog belt in zone 9 and often get that influence. Thanks to all the people I have met who have blessed me with their seeds and plants and time/advice. This is a great website.

I guess what i am concentrating on right at at this moment are vines esp. flowering, sunflowers, red white and blue flower garden (im just starting this one). Also just relandscaped front yard and looking for drought tolerant stuff that loves to be baked in the sun. I have soap aloe there along w/ daylillies, daisies, iceplant, verbena, scabiosa and CA. poppies. Anything that goes with those salmons, pink, lav., orange, purp.

The red white and blue garden is under construction and very flexible. ANY flowers of those patriotic colors are welcome as long as they bloom in the heat. Thanks for reading.
