As my energy allows, Im out getting messy in the garden, where I have over 1000 varieties of perennials, ornamental grasses, woodies, bulbs and aquatic plants, supplemented by annuals and houseplants in the summer. Most I have raised from seed, some are from my Mom and Grandma, and many are from the wonderful folks here on GW. (My lawn has all but dissappeared!) Luckily, I have dry sun, moist sun, a pond, and dappled woodland shade to garden in!

2009 is my year for thinning/re-designing all of my garden beds, so I will have LOTS of divisions to part with as spring progresses. Watch my trade lists - they'll be updated when I'm ready to start making deals! Ill have to feed my Hosta addiction by making trades only, since purchasing then is out of the question right now. (I still visit the nurseries to drool over, covet, and otherwise pine for the spectacular varieties I dont have!) Im still looking for 2 hostas - Spilt Milk, and Tattoo - which I lost in winter 2003...

My current zoo includes: OMG...theres not enough space here!!! ;) I rescue/rehome all kinds of critters, so the numbers change periodically. Please remember to spay/neuter your pets!
