Hello there. I'm a community gardener with a pet rabbit and a passion for heirloom veggies, medicinal herbs & good food.

For 2005, I'm continuing to experiment with cold-frames & plastic hoop houses, and would love to hear from gardeners who do season-extending stuff, especially in the NYC area. But I'm really into perennials (esp. natives) & Wintersowing too!

I don't trade very often any more, but I love the exchanges & am committed to fairness & ethical trading. So if you have something I want or vice versa, please e-mail me. Thankfully, I've only run into a couple traders that fall into the incompetent/unfair/dishonest category, so the great far outweighs the bad.

I send plants via Fedex or UPS and seeds via regular mail. Please do not trade with me if you are not willing to take similar pains to ensure your plant trades arrive alive & well.

Please also note:

A) I prefer stuff grown without harmful chemicals
B) most of my trades are heirlooms & a few fancy hybrids, so they are smallish (10-15 seeds) for tomatoes, peppers, squashes, cukes, melons but full-sized (24+) for corn, beans, peas, herbs, flowers
C) it's important to be SPECIFIC about what you want/have/need
D) the sooner you send your address, the faster I can zip them off in the mail
E) If you're not happy, please tell me nicely so I can make amends; I promise to do the same.
