I have an old country home, run down old that is but sturdy. There werent really any gardens here when I moved in so I slowly started. I got on a perrennial craze and put them everywhere, not exactly where they should have been so Im now moving and being practical. I had built a lovely waterfall but since we have so many rats and an easilly accessible home I had to rip it out. The soil is all clay so year by year Im trying to make the veggie garden better as money allows. I love gardening of all sorts, herbs, trees however the pocketbook doest always allow for what Id like to do in the yard, Id go crazy if I could. I have a spouse and a step-son who is here every other weedend and they both enjoy gardening too and are very helpful. I also love to cook and can. I make small quilts too, just starting but not too bad so far.
