I am a 51 year old woman who was born and raised in the mountains of eastern Ky. I was married at nineteen and had two wonderful children. We spent the next 30 years living and working in northeastern Ky. My husband is a retired high school teacher and I am a retired nurse. Two years ago after our kids left the nest and we both retired, we moved back to my husbands family farm in central Ky. I had always been restricted in my gardening to the small yards that surrounded our home in a subdivision. Now we have 300 acres that includes a large yard, area for vegetable gardening as well as unlimited space for planting and gardening. I am a very happy person.
