I'm currently studying a degree in Plant Biology at Bangor university in North Wales, UK. I developed a keen interest in plants (especially the Fynbos region of the Cape) from a young age collecting seeds, regularly visiting botanical gardens and amassing a large library of books regarding the ecology, cultivation and propagation of plants. I moved to the UK to further my studies, first completing a national diploma in horticulture and then working in London at the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew. Once I have completed my degree I am keen to work in the field of plant systematics (taxonomy) travelling worldwide with an emphasis on helping developing countries.
