I live in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb in the Kansas City area. We recently moved to the suburbs from an older home (Brookside area) and gardening is very different out here. Our new garden is full sun rather than shady and the soil has never been cultivated so digging out rocks and amending the soil has been keeping us busy.

On the plus side, I can now grow sun loving plants such as agastache, yarrow, catmint,lavender, morning glories, roses, salvia, cosmos -- the list goes on and on!
