I have two small gardens, one a small 20'x20' shady (sun mar21-sept20 until 2:00pm) woodland. In it are 55 trees which I coppice to keep trunks <2". It is too shady for a single tree but many saplings look interesting. If I still live here in 30 years it will be all Oak but for now is maple/ash/oak/pear/... I have been working on a moss groundcover, it is just coming into its own now.
My other garden is a deck with potted palms (summer months - indoors else) to other potted experiments (big Bonsai?)
I also have a flat roof and want to make a roof garden.
