I am trying to turn my truly natural couple of acres of clay (=ugly), formerly my sons motocross track, into a natural garden. I am finding natural to be quite a bit of work. My DH and I live with 2 sons in college, teenage step-daughter, 3 cats, bassett hound, 2 rabbits, koi, and the deer that have adopted us as their salad bar.I have gardened in New Orleans, Pasadena, Phoenix, Cary, and Orange County, North Carolina. God gives me clay soil wherever I go, to teach me patience and the virtue of very hard physical labor apparently. I work and travel when Im not gardening. I love the tradition of passalong plants.
