I am new in Gardening and would welcome all the advice I would get from this forum.
I have been a city girl all my life until 2 years ago when my hubby and I moved to a new subdivision in Oakville, Ontario. My new project is to create an easy care garden to allow myself to continue travelling with my husband.
Never done any gardening before, but things seems growing in my backyard. Some of my plants have been moved three times and still survived. I had to move one of my roses for the third time, the rose bush was pretty dead after the first move. But I like to group all my roses together to give it a better look. So I said to my little rose bush, "I give you 2 more weeks, if you don't show me any sign of life, I am going to throw you away." Somehow, my hubby heard what I said. But guess what, after one week, a small green leave started to come out from all the brown and dead leaves. Two weeks later, half of the "dead" branches were covered with small green leaves. So my hubby told my friends that I was not only talked to the roses, but I scared my roses from death to alive.
