Hi everyone, I am a balcony container gardener in south central Texas and I love flowers and foliage. I like cottage and tropical plants. My balcony faces south, and I have some windowboxes and pots - the 2 largest I can have are empty, they are 18". Right now I have miniature roses, vincas, pansies and violas, snapdragons and herbs (Basil, rosemary, oregano, thyme and chives), a Texas Sage bush and a strawberry plant. I am always looking for seeds of plants that will be happy in containers 18" or smaller, in south facing balcony in Texas! (maybe vines, cannas or perennial hibiscus...) I am especially interested in long blooming plants that can flower all season right through the Texas heat and dryness! I am planning on doing a combination of annual and perennial plants, but perennials are favored if they can meet the long blooming requirement in my zone and weather conditions... Happy gardening to everyone!
