I live in the San Luis Obispo area. I have recently finished a bachelor's degree in math and am getting back into my old hobby of gardening. I like to mix in edibles, natives and fragrant plants into my garden. I hate lawns and want to get rid of ALL of the lawn in my front yard...and would like to outlaw the use of bermuda grass and Algerian Ivy (Hedera canariensis) world-wide. I believe that everyone should compost all kitchen waste (no meat or bones), coffee grounds and all plant materials from around the house and the yard to give back to the earth and to minimize landfill use.
