I am a former WSU Master Gardener who returned to college at nearly forty years of age to become an Registered Nurse.

I don't have as much time to garden as I once did but I still manage to grow a variety of things. My love for edible gardening is evident. I love to grow berries, herbs, and vegetables and lean towards open-pollinated and heirlooms. I generally buy organic, as I would prefer not consuming Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). It's frustrating that we have to worry about those kinds of things creeping into our home gardens. p>
