HI there, I am a phtographer and painter with not enough time for either. I am a fourth generation gardener but it probably goes further back than that. I have a brother in Canada and one in Gascony France and according to our mother it is quite uncanny how similar our gardens are without us communicating very much at all. MY daughter is attempting to grow herbs on her shady kitchen window sill. Poor little things!! I think she has the gardening bug too.
I like grwoing vegetables in with the other plants. There is always something to eat in my small garden. the garden is always "evolving". I have lived here 15 years - when I moved in the garden was wall to wall grass with a clothes line and a lemon tree. It becam a sunny cottage garden but trees and shrubs have grown up and it is becoming a rainforest. Not much sun gets in (which is good because we need a shady spot to sit.)that's all for now - I may edit this later - no time for spell check so enjoy my mistakes!!
