My husband and I just bought our first house and our first garden. It's huge, at least compared to what I was used to in Toronto. It also has some serious problems. It has bad drainage problems, a lot of tree roots from cut trees, more weeds than grass and a huge 12\" by 24\" shed that casts a shadow over the middle of the yard so that nothing grows and there is a huge mud puddle. I really want to get started planting but I know that I am really going to need to plan well in order to resolve these problems. I need all your advise. Thanks.
