I have a husband, three kids, and a dog. We live in an area that is sort-of unique in the U.S.-- desert, with winters just cold enough to kill off those Southwestern-style plants.

I do some volunteer work at our Botanical Gardens, and helped them re-vamp their antique-roses section a couple of years ago.

In my home garden I try to get by with as little work as possible! Vegetables, forget it-- it's easier and cheaper to buy them at the Farmers' Market!
