To help with spelling and proof reading,I use
ieSpell
when using the Internet Explorer browser, and
SpellBound with Firefox.Once installed, you simply Right-Click on your message and select Check Spelling.

To help with cleaning up your digital images, I LOVE the free,stand-alone version of
Digital Camera Enhancer
