I am a photographer that took a couple photos of a hawk. Wanted to find a bird geek to identify the photographs, when I went to the Chattanooga TOS meeting, I met several great people and went on the next scheduled \"count\". Since then I've been hooked, and spend most of my spare time looking for raptors...
I photograph most of the birds with a Nikon Coolpix 990 attached to a Celestron Wilderness 15-45x60 scope.
I also use a Nikon N70 (film) with a 500mm mirror lens for \"in flight\" types of shots.
