I live in Blooomfield Hills (north Oakland county). I bought a home 3 years ago here that was built in 1954 on a half-acre hill top lot. Lots of mature trees, but lots that needed major surgery and a significant amount of undesirable overgrowth. I grow organic vegetables in raised beds, interested in shade perennials also. Avid birdfeeder and have goldfish I overwinter in an outdoor pond. I am working on a long range plan to renew the entire site.
