I have been perennial gardening for about 6 years now. I bought this house with a rose garden in the middle of the yard in a 100 sq foot bed. The roses did not do well for the first 2 years (mostly teas)so I took all of them out except one which turns out to be a climber. I am trying to achieve a beautiful cottage garden. Unfortunately, I didn't make my own beds first so I have been working around this "square" for years now and am hoping that soon I will be rid of it with a shape more flowing and peaceful...I also have a lot of indoor plants. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 10 betta fish, one son still in school at home with me and one older son in California.
