I garden with my mother at her home in New Jersey. She loves birds, and wanted a bird garden, so I got involved in helping her plan one, and along the way I got really hooked on the idea. My other inspiration for gardening came from a trip I took to England, where it seemed as if the smallest backyard plot could bloom in profusion. Gardening in England is a lot easier than gardening in the Northeast USA, but we still try. We're quite amateur, but eager learners. I love GardenWeb forums and look forward to reading more of them.
