Who AM I ? What a question, belonged to the hort. club and african violet club in the quad citys, years ago. Moved to California 15 years ago and came back to be grandmother, about 4 years ago, and got married to my high school sweetheart, and he is by the way. raised all sort of fruit in calf. and use to have a solar home, with atrium in the earirly 80's that was about the time I also raised about 500 african violets at a time, under lights. now we are building a home in a 100 foot garage, I get 18 feet of it for home and the rest is garage for my husbands cars, old ones, 12 of them. So now I have a wonderfull sky light that I hope to grow a lemon under and perhaps a hibiscus too, as a start, we have yet to put in a window in the south part of the living room, have not bought i yet. which i hope to plant some more citus trees . we are thinking about 4 foot high windows so hope that is enough. also plan on starting to grow under lights again. I fell in love with the tropic
plants when i lived in Hawaii for 5 years, but that is another story! I have one son and one grandbaby who is 4.
