Im fairly new to perennial gardening and this is my fourth year as a "ponder". These forums have been a big help to me in both types of gardening, and I check the threads almost daily for new tips. Ive become SOOOO knowledgable that all my gardening friends and family members are now asking me to "look up" something for them on the GardenWeb site.

We live on 129 acres of farm and woodland. My husband carved a 2/3 acre lot for our home out of dense woods in 1993. Subsequently, we have a lot of shade which makes gardening a challenge. This lot has since gotten bigger and bigger every year, not because he wants a larger yard, but because he likes to play with his tractor. Ive made beds and borders in most of the "new" areas of the yard or anywhere a little sun peeks through although DH hates for me to dig up his "good" grass!

I am looking to expand my plants collection, and although I have very few items to trade, Ill list them. One mans trash....
