Three years ago, my 82 year old father died. He was a master gardener, considered by other gardeners to be one of the best in Kansas City.Without knowledge, I took over his garden: front yard: rock terrace with fairy roses ,white roses and vinca. Yew bushes , lilac bush, several rose bushes, about 15 hardy hibiscus plants . Side yard:climbing roses, hydrangia bushes,two trees . Back yard: many hostas, two clematis, two river birch trees, trellis with wisteria streching across yard, tree stump surrounded by ornamental grasses, phlox, two peony bushes, columbine, alpine strawberries, and several flowers and ground covers I still can't identify! Now I have added herbs, tomatoes, peppers!!
