After many years of renting and moving around, we purchased a home with acreage. I missed having a garden since we always had one when I was growing up. In fact we used to eat a lot of the produce fresh from the plant. One of my brothers even accused my Mother of taking one of my boys into the garden to graze.

My youngest son really likes to eat vegetables. When he was much younger he called me at work one day, told my boss it was *really important* and when I got on the phone, he asked me if he could cook some mixed vegetables and eat them for a snack! Of course my boss wanted to know if everything was OK, and when I told her what he wanted, she and about 3 customers really cracked up!

For Deer and health and work reasons, I did not have a garden the last couple of years and I am really looking forward to getting back into it.
