I have a TINY garden in the middle of Tokyo. I don't have room to grow very much of anything, so I tend to 'play' a little. e.g. I am currently growing 2 pigeon peas plants,a planter with black-eyed peas, herbs and chillis from Trinidad, several citrus trees in pots and some amaranth from East Africa. I make compost but I have such small quantities of waste that my compost never really heats up, and all kinds of exciting plants grow in it from the seeds that I have discarded.
