My garden has become shaded by trees that grew too large, so I have to search for spots that still get enough sunshine to grow flowers. It's a challenge, and I've had to open up new areas where I never planted before.

I'm trying to rebuild my garden by starting perennials from seed and trading plants of which I have extras for a new stock of irises, which I've loved and lost.
