My husband and I moved into the house I grew up in last year, so I am FINALLY getting to experience having my own yard and gardening to my heart's content. I have a beautiful and challenging little boy, and I am a 6th grade teacher in an inner city school. I love reading, sports, swimming, cooking, crafts, and of course gardening! I prefer flower and ornamental plants, but occasionally put the effort into food plants. I am currently interested in unusual plants and hybridizing roses and daylilies. I also go through a lot of seeds in my classroom!!
