I live in a new house on a wooded lot next to a lake in E. TN. Improving my soil is my main concern while trying to fill the gardens around our home. We have a large pond with a waterfall. We have left much of the front as forest and there is also a forest between our lawn and the lake. Our house is in the sun. This is the first time we have started a landscape from scratch and it's quite a job.
