Gardening is my passion. I think about it all the time, read all gardening books and magazines related to gardening and can not stand to kill any plant, even when it must leave my garden. I always try to find a new home for it, with friends or relatives. I am always looking to add new or unusual specimens, but favor the Texas natives. I like to attract butterflies, bees, birds and even reptiles and amphibians to my acre in Spring, Texas. My husband and I have lived here for over 30 years, have a small pond and several beds planted with natives and grasses. Recently, I have begun breeding daylilies and am a member of the American Hemerocallis Society.
