I am a transplant to Southern California from upstate New York. We are remodeling a 30 year old home with the intention of reselling it within 3 years. I like Christopher Lowell's practical approach to projects using affordable, diy materials. Our yard is nicely landscaped but has been neglected for a number of years and needs lots of help.
